Our Process
Serving clients successfully for more than six decades has taught us that we must start by understanding your needs. At First Midwest, that process incorporates four steps:
- Determine and Review Financial Needs – Understanding your needs is critical to offering the right financial solutions . . . beginning with listening. We listen to your hopes, dreams and concerns, and analyze your financial situation. And we will continue to review your needs over time, taking into consideration any changes that impact your financial situation.
- Provide Solutions – Our professionals provide objective solutions concerning financial decisions such as asset allocation, investment selection and other wealth management concerns. Solutions are presented in a manner you can understand, and you always have the choice of how and when to implement them.
- Implement and Evaluate – This is the point in the process where you'll determine which of our services are the most appropriate for your needs. Some recommendations may require the services of an attorney, tax professional or insurance provider. While we do not practice law, provide specific tax advice, or sell insurance, we do work with other appropriate professionals to put your plan into action. As needs change, investment opportunities arise or tax laws are modified, we'll stay current on these changes and evaluate your investments, insurance and estate plan as needed.
- Review Results and Communicate – We make certain you are on track to achieve your objectives through a continuous dialog – reviewing results and placing them in the proper perspective.
