Make secure purchases with your First Midwest Bank Debit Card1 by using Apple Pay. Your iPhone® 6 and Apple Watch already have the Passbook® app preloaded and ready to go.

. . . your virtual cards. Set your First Midwest Bank Debit Card as your default. Simply go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay, tap Default Card and choose your card.

  • How To Get Started

    It's easy. All you need is your iPhone 6, 6 Plus, Apple Watch or any Apple device with the latest update of iOS 8 to activate Apple Pay. The Passbook app is already on your phone.

    • Choose your First Midwest Bank Debit Card
    • Open the Passbook app on your Apple device and select "Add a Credit or Debit Card"
    • Follow the simple instructions to take a picture of your card and add it to Passbook
    • Use your device's Touch ID to authenticate your purchase

    Change your default card 

    The first card you add to Passbook is your default card. To change your default card to your First Midwest Bank Debit Card:

    • Go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay
    • Tap Default Card
    • Choose a new card
    • Where To Use It

      Apple Pay can be used in restaurants, your favorite retailers and inside mobile apps.

      For in store purchases on your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus, hold the device near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. On your Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display up to the contactless reader.

      For in app purchases, choose Apple Pay when checking out and then hold down Touch ID.

      • It's Secure

        With Apple Pay, your card number and ID are not shared with the merchant. Your new iPhone or iPad contains a Device Account Number, which enables a purchase along with your authentication and appears on merchant receipts.
