Branch Locations – Modified Branch Hours


With the increased importance of social distancing and recent stay-at-home orders issued, we have adjusted our branch drive-up hours. Starting Monday, March 30, 2020, new drive-up hours of operation will now be:

  • Monday – Friday 9:30am to 4pm
  • Saturday 9am to 12pm

If you need to speak with a banker in person, please schedule an appointment. Additionally, please continue to utilize the First Midwest tools and resources available for self-service banking and 24/7 account access through our online, mobile and voice banking services. Our Customer Care team (800.322.3623) will continue to be available during their normal business hours of Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 2pm. 

Meeting Your Financial Needs


These are challenging times that are filled with uncertainties, and some of you may need financial services support in ways you may have not needed in the past. We are offering several programs and products designed to meet your unique needs, and we are here to help.

For Consumers: 

  • Consumer/Mortgage Payment Deferral Programs – If you find yourself facing financial difficulties due to sickness or workplace closures as a result of COVID-19, we have multiple payment deferral programs for homeowners and consumers, with no credit bureau impact.
  • Removal of Late Fees – Through June 30, we will suspend late fees for consumer loan payments. We will continue to monitor this program and its ability to meet your financial needs.
  • Wide Financial Network and Resources – We understand the way some of you interact with us has changed as a result of COVID-19. We have a broad network of ATM locations that are widely available, as well as online banking, mobile banking, and direct banker representatives (800.322.3623) who are here to help. In addition, we are waiving certain fees to help:
    • Certificate of deposit early withdraw fees will be suspended for emergency needs through June 30, 2020 to allow you to access funds if needed
    • Stop payment fees will be suspended through June 30, 2020
    • Overdraft fee relief options will be available through June 30, 2020
  • Foreclosure Program – Through June 30, 2020, we will suspend initiating any new foreclosure actions specific to residential properties unless required by federal or government agencies.
  • Repossession Program – Through June 30, 2020, we will not initiate any new repossession associated with consumer installment loans. We have payment programs we can offer if you are having difficulty making your auto loan payments.

For Small Businesses: 
  • Small Business Payment Deferral – If you are experiencing hardship as a result of family sickness or workplace closure, we will offer payment deferral programs for up to 90 days with no credit bureau impact.
  • Stop Payment Fees – We will suspend stop payment fees through June 30, 2020.
  • Late Fees – We will suspend late fees on loans through June 30, 2020.

Branch Locations Moving to Drive-Up-Only Services


As the need for social distancing increases due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, we are continuing to take steps to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and colleagues. As such, we have made the decision to temporarily suspend lobby access at our branch locations starting Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Our drive-up services will remain open at most locations. We can also assist clients in the lobby by appointment only. Clients wishing to request an appointment can click on the link below. A list and status of our locations can be found here.

We encourage you to utilize the available First Midwest tools and resources for self-service banking and 24/7 account access through our mobile, online and voice banking services. Through these channels, you can check balances, transfer funds, deposit checks or find the nearest ATM. Preventative Measures

We also have established restrictions for our own colleagues on business travel and events and have revised guidelines in place for remote work options and virtual meetings.
